The new RJ-BOT K18 is a crawler camera system for visual inspection of suitable sewer, drainage and industrial wastewater pipes. It brings together the crawler, cable reel, battery and supplied tablet in a configuration that can be selected for your application.
Use the K18 to view pipe interiors, document visible conditions and retain inspection footage for review. Before ordering, share your pipe diameter, access conditions and required inspection distance so that the wheel configuration and equipment scope can be checked against your work.
Front and rear 5MP cameras help the operator monitor the inspection run and crawler movement. The camera adjustment system provides horizontal rotation through 360°, radial adjustment through 180° and a one-touch reset function. An elevating camera assembly helps position the viewing head within the pipe.
Adjustable lighting supports viewing in dark pipe interiors. Image visibility depends on the condition of the lens and the pipe environment; the system does not provide visibility through opaque water or deposits covering the lens.
Operate the equipment through the supplied tablet connected to the equipment's Wi-Fi. The crawler remains connected to the reel by cable for the inspection run.
The control interface provides movement, camera adjustment, lighting, recording and cable-reel functions. Follow the operating instructions for tablet positioning and select the correct reel setting for the installed wheel size.
The standard configuration includes a 100m cable, with a specified working distance of 100m. Actual travel distance depends on pipe layout, access, deposits and operating conditions.
Automatic, manual and hand-assisted cable reeling give the operator options for cable management. An electronic encoder provides distance counting, with a reset function for setting the start of a run.
Capture video and screenshots during an inspection and enter project information through the application. This information can be displayed with the inspection footage, helping keep recordings associated with the relevant job.

The K18 application range is DN200–DN2000. The standard equipment list includes 4-inch and 10-inch wheel sets; a 6-inch wheel set is optional.
Choose the wheel configuration according to the pipe size and site conditions. Use the corresponding reel setting in the application whenever the wheel size is changed. Confirm the required configuration rather than assuming one setup covers every pipe in the stated range.

The K18 is intended for visual pipe inspection. It is not a pipe-cleaning machine. Check pipe diameter, inspection distance, bends, deposits, access points and water conditions before selecting a configuration.
The crawler's IP68 specification does not apply to the complete system. Keep the reel out of standing water and follow the manual's cleaning and storage instructions. Operating conditions and the required documentation should be reviewed for the intended job before purchase.

What pipe sizes can the new K18 inspect?

Is the K18 supplied as a complete system?
The standard equipment list includes the crawler, cable reel, battery, supplied tablet and listed accessories. Your quotation confirms the exact configuration. The optional 6-inch wheel set and any additional requirements should be listed separately.
Is the crawler wireless inside the pipe?
No. The tablet connects to the equipment's Wi-Fi, while the crawler is connected to the reel by cable. The standard 100m cable configuration should not be described as 100m wireless operation.
Can the K18 record inspection results?
Yes. The application provides video recording, screenshots and project-information overlay. If you require a particular report format, output language or software workflow, send us an example so that it can be checked before purchase.
Is the entire system waterproof?
No. The manual specifies IP68 for the crawler. The reel is protected against light splashes and must be kept out of standing water. Do not wash down the reel.
Does it always reach the full 100m distance?
The specified working distance and standard cable length are 100m. Actual travel depends on pipe layout, deposits, access and operating conditions. Share your site information for a configuration check.
